traveling: successful!

I am finishing up a 12-day trip to Costa Rica, my first after my official diagnosis and the barrage of new medications and supplements. I was worried about taking syringes through customs, as well as how my body would react to the stresses of travel and not being able to control my diet.

Luckily, things have worked quite well! Today (day 12) is the first day I’ve experienced significant symptoms, and that was after walking several miles, taking in a museum, and walking through a market. I had a few moments where the world spun, and I knew it was time to take a significant rest.

Aside from that, even while not monitoring my nutrition, I’ve hardly noticed any disability. And no problem flying with injectable meds.

Back home tomorrow and back to the usual routine!
